Visit of Dr Najde al-Ali, Professor of SOAS, to the Centre

Dr Nadje al-Ali, Professor at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), visited Japan from 16th February 2014 to 22th February 2014. During her stay, she gave a special lecture on Iraqi women and gender relation, and participated in a workshop with Japanese researchers at the UTCMES. She also discussed with staff of the University of Tokyo the way to enhance the existing biliteral relationship between SOAS and the University of Tokyo.
