Information on the 40th Annual Conference Public Lecture of the Japan Association for Middle East Studies (May 11, 2024)

The 40th Annual Conference of the the Japan Assocaiation for Middle East Studies will be held on Saturday, May 11th and Sunday, May 12th, 2024. A public lecture and general meeting will be held on the first day of the conference, and individual research presentations and planning sessions will be held on the second day. The venue for both days is the University of Tokyo’s Komaba I Campus (3-8-1 Komaba, Meguro-ku, Tokyo). The first day of the conference will be a high-flex format (both face-to-face and online), and the second day will be a face-to-face format (only a few will be able to present online). Please note that if there are restrictions on campus entry due to the spread of the new coronavirus or other circumstances, there is a possibility that classes will move entirely online.
