The University of Tokyo Centre for Middle Eastern Studies (UTCMES) hosts research seminar series “Heritage and the Middle East: The Evolution of Culture, History, and Faith” as a part of our FY2021 projects.
For this 13th session, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Ayaka Kuroda (Ritsumeikan University) as a guest speaker. Dr. Kuroda will give a lecture entitled “Religious Traditions and Modernity Revisited by Egyptian Muslim Intellectuals: Beyond Religious Austerity and Orientalism.”
