The Health Nutrition Laboratory is a university-community relations laboratory, established in June, 2017.
We are exploring effective uses of nutrients and other food components for health throughout life. We are addressing this goal by making full use of molecular nutrition and omics technologies such as genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, metagenomics, and epigenomics.
A major mission of Health Nutrition Laboratory is to elucidate the factors leading to challenging problems of the aging society including locomotive syndrome, frailty, and sarcopenia, and to find ways to prevent them through nutritional approaches.
