Dr. Yasutaka Anraku received the Takagi award at the 21th Inteligent Materials/Systems Symposium. His presentation title is "Development of nano-sized polyion complex polymersome (Nano-PICsomes) for a versatile DDS carrier" (coauthors: Akihiro Kishimura, Kazunori Kataoka).

Dr. Hitomi Hiruma received the meeting award 2011 at the 32th Congress of Japan Society for Laser Surgery and Medicine (JSLSM). The presentation title is "Validation of PDD and PDT effect of dendrimer porphyrin micelle".

Associate Professor Keiji Itaka received The Award for Young Investigator of Japanese Society for Biomaterials 2011. The presentation title is "Development of biocompatible nanocarrier for gene delivery and its application for disease treatment".

Project meeting was held at Takeda-Hall in the University of Tokyo. 17 researchers presented their progress and plan and industry members had presented their involvement and their expectations. There were 110 participants.
