(Japanese Politics, Oral History, Public Administration)





Makihara Laboratory examines and analyzes various political and administrative issues based on the historical research. We conduct the comparative historical research mainly in modern Japan and other developed countries. As for the research method, we aim to discover new facts and clarify the political structure, analyzing historical materials including oral history records. We also advance the cross-disciplinary research through the various joint research projects. In addition, we actively commit ourselves to analyzing the historical and the current situations in cooperation with political and administrative practititoners, the private firms, and mass media. Our Labo pursues the possibility of "what is the advanced" in the field of political and administrative study.
