Project Outline
Microchip chemistry is currently on the verge of further miniaturization, turning towards nanoscale dimensions. In this new regime much is still unexplored, and it is our aim to join the best of surface chemists (Professor John Ralston's group at Ian work Research Institute, University of South Australia), single molecule detection specialists (Professor Ulf Landegren, Rudbeck Laboratry, Uppsala University, Sweden) and micro- and nanofluidics expertise (Professor Takehiko Kitamori's group at the University of Tokyo) to create a cutting edge research collaboration for the exploration of new nanofluidics and surface phenomena.
