Research

The central area of our research is micro- and extended-nano fluidics engineering and ultrasensitive technologies. Based on this research we create devices that contribute to a wide range of fields, including biotechnology and medical care. For example, a micro-immuno analyzer for home and clinic-use that can diagnose diseases from a drop of blood. Moreover, using a space which is 1/1000 in size for mosquito needles (extended nanospace) we have developed a device for a single-cell analysis.
