興味分野・対象：
I am interested in brain function, particularly in memory function. In the memory function, I would like to know the role of adult generated neurons in the hippocampus.

● The role of adult generated neurons in memory function:
Adult neurogenesis in the hippocampus is involved in many kinds of memory function such as pattern separation. How do newborn neurons affect memory process or any kinds of memory function?
● Connection:
Cell assembly, functional network, interaction between neurons and other cells (for example, interneurons, mossy cells, astrocytes, and microglias in the hippocampus)
● Memory dynamics:
the time-dependent change of region, networks, or cells preserving memory information post learning

I have also interest in neurological disorders with cognitive dysfunction such as Alzheimer’s disease.
