Let’s create Community Health Nursing together
Community Health Nursing aims to improve the techniques and system to provide caring services in community, and develop theories on these subjects.
Graduate school is a place to acquire the basis of the study. Therefore, we would like to work with nurses and public health nurses who have various questions in the job and are eager to make change. For example
(1) a person who ask oneself the appropriateness of the support to the patient
(2) a person who wants to bring up families or groups, and wants to search
appropriate methodologies for it (3) a person who wants to define the significance of one’s job
(4) a person who is interested in developing the resource, planning and
evaluating the health policy
Our research subjects cover the fields below; pubic health nursing (in communities, workplaces, and schools), home nursing, continuity of care (discharge planning). You will learn and develop the method for care in the community and the way to measure the effect of it, the systematization and the methodology for evaluation. Also, you will develop the supporting method for patients moving from hospital to their communities.
In the master’s course, you will learn the theories to answer those questions, and write master’s thesis on your own subject. Through these assignments, you will acquire the skill to survey, evaluate, and improve the relationship between different matters.
In the doctor’s course, you will develop your ability to create an inquisitive mind and acquire great knowledge about your specialty.
