PEAK at Komabasai festival

A booth run by our PEAK Student Council stood out at the 2018 Komabasai festival. Their participation in the 69th annual Komaba-Campus festival from November 23rd to 25th, was a first in PEAK’s eight-year history. ‘Tornado potatoes,’ skewered crispy potato rings with spiral forms, was on the menu and its uniqueness attracted many visitors enabling the students to meet and inform them of PEAK. The PEAK T-shirts they wore at the booth were originally made to raise funds for the festival, to which students and faculty members contributed. According to the Student Council, during the three days more than 500 units of ‘tornado potatoes’ were sold, making it a smashing success. The plan is to take part in Komabasai once again next year.
